Tyler Phillips
Associate
Tyler Phillips is a member of the GM Ventures team, joining as a Summer Associate in June 2022 and transitioning to a full-time Associate role in June 2023. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he specialized in e-mobility and cleantech.
With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Tyler has a strong passion for sustainable technologies. Before pursuing his MBA, he designed and implemented solar-powered water treatment systems in remote areas of East Africa.
Tyler also has experience in outdoor education, having worked as a Field Guide and Program Director for organizations such as Outward Bound, REI, and Regis University in Denver, CO.
In his current role at GM Ventures, Tyler supports diligence on dealflow, with a particular focus on cleantech and electrification.
