Implementation Associate
Christopher Archer joined GM Ventures as an Implementation Associate in 2026.
Most recently, Christopher held a role in finance where he leveraged artificial intelligence to automate financial assessments and enable early detection of financial distress. Through this work, he developed a strong expertise in analyzing both corporate and startup cost structures, specializing in how to mature them for sustainable growth. Prior to this, he served as a department strategy lead, successfully managing $1.5 billion in complex negotiations.
Christopher began his career at General Motors in 2014 and has held a variety of cross-functional roles within engineering, purchasing, and finance. With a deep focus on emerging technologies, he holds two patents in vehicle haptics.
Prior to his time at GM, Christopher founded a technology company and worked within Detroit’s TechTown, supporting programs for metropolitan public schools. Building on the business administration acumen cultivated at Grand Valley State University, he is driven by a passion for commercializing innovation—strategically connecting the right ideas to the right market opportunities.
