Tony Nausieda was named Investment Manager, General Motors Ventures LLC effective October 1, 2011.

 
Tony joined General Motors in 2004 and has held several positions with General Motors’ Electrification group, including Product Development Team Leader for a hybrid electric all-wheel drive system and application engineer for the Chevrolet Volt drive unit.  Prior to this assignment, he was appointed Lead Hybrid Integration Engineer for advanced electric drive units where he supported strategic alliance initiatives with outside OEMs.

Tony earned his master of mechanical engineering in 2004 from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he co-authored several peer-reviewed, technical papers in both mechanical and materials sciences.  He received a bachelor of science in engineering with honors from Harvey Mudd College and is currently pursuing his master of business administration.
