Jon Lauckner was named GM Vice President and President, General Motors Ventures LLC effective July 1, 2010.

Prior to this appointment, he held the positions of Vice President of General Motors Global Product Planning and Vice President of Global Program Management since May 2005. He is a member of the GM Senior Leadership Group.

Jon joined General Motors in 1979 and held a number of positions in product engineering and product development during his career, including international assignments in South America and Europe from 1992 to 2005.

Lauckner received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1979. He earned a master of science degree in management from Stanford Business School in 1990 through the Sloan Fellowship program and attended the GM-Harvard Senior Executive Program in 2001.

Sherwin Prior was named Managing Director, General Motors Ventures LLC effective September 1, 2010.

Prior to this appointment, he worked on the micro-cap to mid-cap growth platform for NorthPointe Capital, LLC in Troy, Michigan. Sherwin also worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York as a Senior Associate where he was responsible for investments in the industrials and consumer discretionary sectors of the economy.

His previous experience also includes General Motors Retail Holdings, where he was a Financial Acquisitions Analyst responsible for the valuation of dealerships; JP Morgan Chase, where he was a Commercial Credit Analyst in the Asset-Based Lending Group; and Stout Risius Ross Valuation Consultants in Farmington Hills, where he was responsible for appraising middle-market companies and real estate.

Sherwin is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He received a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from Eastern Michigan University and a master of business administration from the University of Michigan.

Tim Brumbaugh was named Deputy Director, General Motors Ventures LLC effective October 1, 2010.

Prior to this appointment, Tim worked in GE Equity, the private equity arm of GE Capital in Chicago, Illinois since August 2004. His industry focus included oil and gas, aviation, and transportation. Tim joined GE in 2002 through the Financial Management Program with GE Asset Management in Connecticut, where he had positions in the operations, fixed income, public equity, and private equity groups.

Tim received a master in business administration with distinction from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management in 2010 and earned his bachelor of arts in finance from Michigan State University in 2002.

John Hater was named Investment Manager, General Motors Ventures LLC effective May 1, 2011.

John joined General Motors in 2007 and has held positions in Employment Cost Analysis, Powertrain Finance, Corporate Restructuring, and New Business Development prior to his appointment to GM Ventures. In these roles he has supported union negotiations, GM's bankruptcy proceedings, and the divestiture of Saab AB, among other projects.

Prior to joining GM, John worked as a Due Diligence Analyst at Raymond James and Associates providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of professional money managers for the Asset Management Services and Raymond James Consulting Services groups.

John received a master of business administration from Purdue University in 2007 and bachelor of science degrees in finance and management information systems from Florida State University in 2003.

Anish Patel was appointed Investment Manager, General Motors Ventures LLC effective September 1, 2010.

Anish joined GM in May 2005 upon graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor degree in finance and economics and is currently pursuing his master of business administration. Anish has held various positions in GM's Corporate Risk Management and Corporate Strategy & Business Development, and has worked on a number of key assignments, most notably Enterprise Risk Management and several corporate restructuring initiatives.

Anish has an interest in cleantech and battery technology, and has supported and led several initial investments by GM Ventures.

Jerneja Loncar was appointed Investment Manager, General Motors Ventures LLC effective September 1, 2010.

Jerneja has a background in business development and strategy in the automotive domain and a passion for cleantech. Prior to this appointment, she held a position in GM Corporate Strategy and Business Development and worked on several cross-functional assignments, including technology commercialization. She joined GM in 2008 as an internal consultant with GM Strategic Initiatives and supported corporate transformation efforts in 2009.

Prior to GM, Jerneja worked as account manager in automotive logistics services in Europe and interned with three different companies, including Goldman Sachs in New York.

Jerneja received a master of business administration from NYU, Stern School of Business and Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. In 2004, she earned a bachelor of science in economics from University of Slovenia and Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Tony Nausieda was named Investment Manager, General Motors Ventures LLC effective October 1, 2011.

Tony joined General Motors in 2004 and has held several positions with General Motors' Electrification group, including Product Development Team Leader for a hybrid electric all-wheel drive system and application engineer for the Chevrolet Volt drive unit. Prior to this assignment, he was appointed Lead Hybrid Integration Engineer for advanced electric drive units where he supported strategic alliance initiatives with outside OEMs.

Tony earned his master of mechanical engineering in 2004 from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he co-authored several peer-reviewed, technical papers in both mechanical and materials sciences. He received a bachelor of science in engineering with honors from Harvey Mudd College and is currently pursuing his master of business administration.
